ABSTRACT
This research proposes integrating AC-coupled Low Gain Avalanche Diode (AC-LGAD) sensors into Time-of-Flight Positron Emission Tomography (TOF-PET) systems to achieve sub-50 ps timing resolution, significantly improving PET imaging sensitivity and enabling 4D tracking capabilities.
